The Holy Season has concluded and the crucifixion, burial, and resurrection stories were shared throughout the world. Many people recognize this time period as Easter. This season is supposed to reacquaint us with our divine ability to rise above human challenges and to remind us that living an exceptional life is not grounded in a quest for accumulating material things. In fact, most of our psychological and physical barriers are self-imposed and are a result of our failure to embrace and employ the power we possess.
This week, I want to give you my "top seven list" outlining the perspective required to align your thoughts, feelings, and behaviorwith your unlimited power!
#1 - Anything worth achieving takes time and struggle. If your job is getting you down, or you feel as though your efforts to increase your income or improve your relationships are moving slowly, remember any step forward, no matter how small, will bring you closer to your goals.
#2 - When you allow the world to get you down, keep breathing and focus on the inhalation and exhalation of your lungs. Remember that as long as you keep breathing, you will still have a chance to take back your power and make things better.
#3 - Anything is possible when you bring your A-game to it. Do not let your self-doubt hold you back. You can overcome any obstacle with hard work, effort, support, and the right mindset.
#4 - Negative self-talk is the number one obstacle that people face in any arena of life. Whether you are struggling with finances, mental health, career, or relationships, do not succumb to negativity. Stay positive and keep working hard. A good story always involves overcoming impossible odds.
#5 - Self-improvement does not happen all at once or overnight. Take it minute-by-minute and day-by-day. Set realistic goals, and keep at it no matter how many setbacks you experience. You will improve over time, but you can't give up!
#6 - If you are struggling to overcome emotional abuse in your life, you need to know that you are not alone and there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Seek help and take control of your emotional health. Don't become a slave to past experiences.
#7 - Don't let anger ruin your life. If you are regularly angry, do the challenging work of exploring the real reasons behind your anger. This brings you one step closer to a happy and healthy life.
When you read this list, did you recognize that all seven thoughts require a commitment to overcoming the self-imposed limitations to the life you desire? So, do your homework, I mean do your self-work, because you are worth it!!
